The Central Rockies ATTC located in the Utah Addiction Center has partnered with the following organizations to provide outstanding services to the substance abuse treatment community.

SAMHSA Region 8 Office

Charles Smith, the Region 8 Administrator brings significant experience to the Central Rockies region. Dr. Smith has extensive experience in the substance abuse and mental health fields, as well as prevention, health care financing, disaster preparedness, response to recovery, and federal, state and local governments. He also has expertise in the behavioral health needs of particular populations such as Native Americans, youth, those in forensic settings, persons with serious mental illness and persons in recovery from addiction.

The Central Rockies ATTC, housed in the Utah Addiction Center, is partnering with the Western States Node of the Clinical Trial Network (CTN) to disseminate CTN products via webinars and written materials. Additionally, the Central Rockies ATTC’s Principal Investigator, Dr. Jason Burrow-Sánchez, is a member of the Western States Nodes’ Dissemination Committee.

Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies

The Central Rockies ATTC located in the Utah Addiction Center at the University of Utah is partnering with the Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies (CASAT) at the University of Nevada, Reno to provide NIDA Blending Initiative training workshops/webinars and other educational activities in the Central Rockies six-state region.
